The pleasure of original design. The pleasure and value of having at home, every day, a lamp, a chair, a table with that special aura: the aura of someone who thought, imagined, created exactly that object. A unique value that we want to protect and which led us to launch the Be Original project in November 2012, to protect copyright in design. Project developed through a series of monthly episodes in the magazine, an anti-counterfeiting awareness campaign, a survey among readers on the web and round tables with professionals (designers, entrepreneurs, lawyers, heirs of the masters, foundations and associations). To arrive at the drafting of a Manifesto of concrete proposals presented to the institutions on 4 July 2013 on the occasion of the final conference in Milan, at Palazzo Reale.
