CONNUBIA armchair REEF (Sand - Cat. E fabric, polyurethane and recycled polyester)

The armchair Reef Connubia, with its bright colours and its light spirit, is the first 100% sustainable armchair. The padding consists of recycled polyurethane foam deriving from the agglomeration of bulky waste (sofas, mattresses) and production waste of furniture and textile industry supply chains. The second material used for padding is the cotton wool of thermo-bonded polyester fiber consisting of at least 70% of polyester fiber obtained by recycling white polyester post-consumer containers. But the innovation is also and above all in the fabric by which Reef Connubia is coated. Created fully by post-consumer recycled plastic, plastic debris that float in our seas and the plastic bottles destined for landfill, this particular coating has been realized together with SEAQUAL, the community that fights marine pollution by cleaning up it from plastic. Actually, for each Reef produced, 100 plastic bottles recovered from the sea, by contributing concretely to the mission of each and oceans cleaning. The green DNA of the armchair Reef Connubia continues in the wooden structure, FSC® (FSC-C002023) certified: The brand identifies the products containing wood coming from the forests managed correctly and responsibly according to the strict environmental, social and economic standards
