Twiggy Foscarini is an unmistakable sign in space, an exemplary marriage between the designer's eclectic creativity and Foscarini's research in the field of materials and technologies. Suspended on a detachable rod made of composite materiai, ftexible like a fishing rod and height-adjustable using a system of counterweights, Twiggy is a simple and genius idea, which has become an icon of Foscarini. 15 years later and after intensive work which lasted 2 years, the family has been supplemented with a version which translates what made Twiggy an icon of itself in a new function. The new Twiggy Elle, available in various colours as well as in the Wood version, plays the starring role in any room thanks to its new rod which takes the diffuser further away from the base, generating even more ftexibility of use. Twiggy has always, and today more than ever before, imbued character into settings thanks to the atmosphere of its light and its silhouette which comes in the form of a natural and coloured graphic gesture.

Diffuser and rod made of fibreglass-based composite materiai and liquid coated. Translucent polycarbonate upper diffuser disc, opaline white PMMA lower diffuser disc with satin finish. Epoxy powder coated metal round base. Supplied with 4 counter-weights to be inserted in the purpose-provided seat above the diffuser to adjust its height. The double-sided LED board was purpose-designed by Foscarini to achieve a superior level of colour rendering (CRI) and retaining the same colour temperature as a halogen light source (degrees Kelvin). The LED board is installed on an aluminium disc, which is protected at the top by a small PMMA disc. The transparent cable is fitted with a dimmer which can be used both to adjust the level of luminous intensity gradually or as the ON/OFF switch.
