Toio Flos designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni is a floor lamp with indirect light. Planning the lamp Toio Flos the Castiglioni used a powerful car lighthouse directly imported from USA in the 1960s. Their aim was to use industrial objects uniting and modifying them so creating a new function, in this case a device providing indirect light.On its base in lacquered and folded steel there is the universal transformer in view which serves moreover as counterweight to improve the stability of the object. The base / structure of the lamp Toio Flos is available in three finishing: red, black or white. Instead, the body of the Toio Flos lamp is composed by a metal chromed structure high adjustable thanks to a simple fixing screw (170-195 cm) that it will serve both of frame pole and of handle. This stem is provided of fishing reed buttonholes that maintain the electric threads that pass outside. On the cable there is the electronic dimmer that permits the regulation of the bright intensity.
On top of the lamp it is stand the bright source that is supported by a characteristic structure, constituted by a metallic ring settled to two flexed rods.
Toio Flos represents therefore an really unique object for all the lovers of design.
