Flos Chasen is a suspension lamp conceived by Patricia Urquiola. Patricia Urquiola creates Flos Chasen to allow to choose what bright intensity is wanted to diffuse in the room, this simply turning a small wheel situated above to the diffuser. Thanks to it, the flexible thin steel plates of the lamp will rotate and they will see that the lampshade lengthens or shortens modifying therefore the bright intensity of the room in which the suspension is placed. Approaching distancing, the steel thin plates will become like a lanky and lengthened form similar to a pipe rather than a rounded form more similar to the classical suspensions. Its modern style is inspired to the culture of the orient. In fact, it takes back the idea of the classical Matcha whisk, bamboo Chasen usually used in Japan during the tea ceremony.
With Flos Chasen, play with lights and forms, in base to your humour. It is the perfect lamp to give versatile elegance to whatever room in the house. Its variations of colour, black or white, will allow to choose the most proper lamp on the base of furniture at your home.
